This summer I had the Pleasure of attending a few vintage events.

 The Jazz Age Lawn Party, NYC

Jazz Age Lawn Party presented by Michael Arenella and His Dreamland Orchestra.
Under a shady grove of centuries-old trees, caressed by fresh sea air, a sprawling green surrounded by historic officers’ quarters and 18th century naval ramparts, becomes the setting for a true Gatsby affair.

Newport Vintage Dance Week, Newport, RI

 Hosted by The Commonwealth Vintage Dancers, Travel Back in Time to the summer playground of the Gilded Age. Perfect your dancing skills with classes taught by leading experts on vintage dance. Experience the breathtaking opulence of America ’s finest ballrooms as you dance in Newport’s famous mansions. Let yourself be immersed in a bygone era as you sip tea by the shore...  Sadly this is the last year of this event. They do however have many other events in the Boston area.

Chifferobe is both a traveling club and an event production company. Whether you are looking for an extraordinary night on the town or a private affair to remember, Chifferobe offers exceptional events for you.
Our club nights take place at venues throughout the North East, though we are based in Providence, RI. These occasions are inspired by the follies, supper clubs, and USO shows of bygone eras.
