Commonwealth Vintage Dancers

The Commonwealth Vintage Dancers teach, promote, and perform social dances of the 19th and early 20th century.
This year, Vintage Girl Studios had the pleasure to have a creative session with them while they were in Newport for Vintage Dance week.

August Creative Session / Beach Bunny Budd

This Month Creative session was with Amy Lynn Budd AKA Lady Miss Iris.
We had a great time playing on the beach in Narragansett, RI.
ALB teaches a great class called FROM BUMPS TO BOAS: BUILDING BURLESQUE
Shes is a truly amazing person to work with.

July's Creative Session

To keep ideas fresh in the studio. Vintage Girl Studios have decided to have these creative sessions once a month. A Creative session is a session with musicians and performance artists in a special location. There will be small movies of these sessions. Keep posted every month to see who we will be working with.

This month session took place at The Stadium Theatre in Woonsocket, RI. It was pleasure to work with Legs L'amour of the Burlesque troupe Dazzling Dames.

Summer at Vintage Girl Studios

Kristen Minsky and The Lippitt House Museum

My latest session was filmed at The Lippitt House Museum with, Kristen Minsky, a talented cabaret performer/artist who currently resides here in Providence. She is also the producer of Chifferobe, a vintage cabaret night.

The movie of this session was filmed by Michelle McNamara of Fresh Focus Productions and the Music is performed by Janet Klein. We had so much fun and I think it really comes through in the work. I hope that you enjoy these shots!
